Sacha Iskra is a producer and director who runs a small, independent film company called Coffee Ring Films.
She Kickstarted, wrote, directed and produced a short film titled The Sound, which won Best Short Film at New Jersey International Film Festival and Best Sound Design at Visionfest Film Festival.
In 2015, Sacha produced the shorts, The Night Owl, The Waltz, and Pink Moon. In early 2016, she directed the experimental short film, Schuld. Later that year, her suspense short, AVA, would win best director and best film at Sparrow Film Project 13. Sacha currently works as a producer at CBS Interactive, producing short form pieces for CBS News, CBS Sports, and CNET.com, among other business units at the network.
Her horror short, Dwende, is currently in pre-production and slated to film in December 2019. She is working on her first feature-length film, to be shot on location in New York and the Philippines in 2020.
Sacha was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, is a proud Rutgers University graduate, and currently lives and works in New York City.
